theres one guy in the crew which everyone hates and they want him off the crew as soon as possible, he's a creep and doesnt like women in power

i'm finding it hard to keep up with Rovers...so any updates would be nice!!

long time no speak

...so its been a while since my last entry, blame that on the fact i've had no internet access for the last week...anyways what has happened??

well i have sort of got a promotion...sort of because i only get a pay rise when the 3 people who are higher ranked than me are not on any rides....so about once or twice a week i will get 2 hours of incharge time....and an extra 15c an hour!! whoop whoop!!

i have a really bad t-shirt line....and i mean bad!!

we've just had a massive thunderstorm, my ride is down and a tree branch fell to the floor

oh and i have a rivalry with a co-worker about which is better England or the US ......its only a fun rivalry, he and i are pretty much best friends.

other than that...theres nothing new here

ciao for now

i had to work in a thunderstorm...that was fun!!! i got soaked and almost blown away!!

then 2 days ago someone got hurt on the dodgems

and yesterday, someone got hurt on the dodgems, and they threw up and guess who had to help the team leader clean it up...yep me!!

i also recieved my first pay check on friday, just over the $200 mark which isn't bad for a weeks work....the next one will be alot bigger though!!

i'm also very sad to see Matty Derbyshire leave Rovers, but quite happy to see Santa Cruz leave but what are we thinking, chasing Ruud van Nistelrooy?!?! c'mon he's almost as old as Tugay!

I'm glad Givet signed also :-)

Favourite ride

well favourite ride so far (EVER)

so today i managed to get on a great deal of the big roller coasters, but only one has stood out in my mind so far, i am even thinking it could be my favourite of all time knocking dueling dragons into 2nd place...and this ride doesnt even go upside down!!!
its called Dragster, and you are sat in the ride, then all of a sudden your going 120mph to the highest peak (i think) in Cedar Point before shooting back down just as fast. it is incredible! you know for a brief second i think i saw Canada! no joke, on a clear day at the top of Dragster or millenum force highest peak you can see Canada, and well today was a clear day.
Theres a night ride tonight which i am planning to attend, its not a roller coaster, but it will still bring a thrill to everyone who rides it, power tower...it take you up a great height....then you fall really fast.
what is ride night i hear you say...well its once a week or so, after the park closes at night...the employees get to ride a certain ride at night. i can't wait

My flight

So i'm in the USA, i haven't slept in like 19 hours, but i am wide awake as i write this!

the flight was amazing, we didnt fly over cornwall, which was a little disappointing, however we flew over Ireland then a part of Greenland and saw the amazing sights over New foundland and Canada...AKA a sunny day and snow still existing in many places. it was a clear day outside for most of the trip, except for greenland, i wasnt sure if i was looking at snow or cloud!
the plane itself was small, two engine 747, 2 sets of seats, 3 per row, i was lucky enough to sit next to the window and had an empty seat next to me. most of the people aboard the flight were american, and they were all really lovely people!
as for inflight entertainment, now that was amazing, you could play games, watch tv, watch movies listen to music, and it was all a touch screen. of course i watched some movies....they weren't all the latest blockbusters, so no Angels and Demons but i did see You've got mail!! lol and the new pink panther movie,
all in all it was a great flight
have a slight problem with my American mobile...i can't find a signal, i'm working on it now!
the trip from cleveland to sandusky was also amazing, the taxi driver was very friendly and wanted to know all about england, with which i replied it rained most of the time!! lol
the amount of open land in Ohio is unbelievable, you think you've seen a field, you wait until you've come here!!

i believe i start work tomorrow....until next time...ciao for now

My Last Day in Cornwall - for 4 months

So today i spent my last day in Cornwall for 4 months, and i must say a big thank you to my friends for making it an awesome day.

First we went to the beach and had alot of fun, then went on a trip to Tescos, which normally occurs when our group of friends gets together. we then went to Trencrom and relaxed upon the iron age hill fort which looks over the whole of the area in which i live.

i leave for Reading and my sister's house tomorrow. i am quite excited but also a little nervous, because i know that i can't forget anything tomorrow otherwise it will be a wasted trip.

i think the toughest part for me tomorrow will be saying goodbye to my cat,  we are very closer in the cat/owner status, the longest i've ever been without seeing her is 1 month when i went to New Zealand, but we have bonded so much more since then

Facebook

This is just a super quick note about how made i am with Facebook at the minute!
over the course of the last 3-4 months i have been taking alot of photos and uploading them on facebook in preperation for going away, and within the last week i've been trying to upload my photos, which happens to be the same way in which i have been uploading them before...but instead of them uploading, it keeps failing, now my laptop is completely uptodate with all the latest updates and has no reason to have failed uploads on facebook....so its obviously a problem with facebook. i have contacted them, but that hasnt seemed to help.

i am trying to upload now, and i am just waiting for the upload failed pop up to come up any minute

i super mad, SORT IT OUT FACEBOOK

Rovers - season review

with Brad Friedel and a couple of other so called key players leaving, the last season has been a very very tough one, and many rovers fans are very happy its over with. Paul Ince started off as our manager, it started brightly with an opening day win, it went down hill from there by December we were holding up the premiership, something no team wants. Ince had to go, thankfully he did and Big Sam took over....and we managed to fight for our lives and stay up with a couple of games left to spare. those last few games were so nerve racking, something i never want to see again.

This season saw Roque Santa Cruz wanting change (typically a few weeks after i met him and got his autograph) so he's on his way out this summer, i pretty sure about that. but the last game wasnt about him, it was about a certain player from Turkey who is retiring...i have a small piece of history, even though i was unable to attend the game. but Tugay will always be our Turkish Delight! :)

with us staying in the premiership for another season, it meant 3 other teams went down, West Brom and Middlesbrough were two but the most surprising relegation was Newcastle, but in all honesty they've had it coming for years, always had at least 2-3 managers a season, always started off badly and pulled themselves out, but not this season.

so three teams went down, so three had to come up, Wolves and Birmingham got the automated promotion. and with Rovers biggest rivals in the final of the play-offs, many were hoping that Burnley would be beaten by Sheff Utd, while other fans wanted them to come up so we could beat them next season....me i didnt want them to come up....i guess its partly my fault that they won the game and are now in the premiership. but i'm now looking forward to playing them twice next season, and i'm hoping for two victories, but its football anything can happen

i will try and give my opinions on any new signings Rovers make over the summer, but until then ciao for now

Films and dvds

as most people know i own alot of dvds, i've watched 99.8% of them all. but just a few minutes ago something hit me...while i'm away in the USA i wont be able to watch ANY of my dvds! ok i can go to the cinema and watch all the new films which have come out, but i wont  be able to sit back and relax in my room by watching a dvd...what am i going to do?? i dont have any room for them in my suitcase and its not like i can pick a few of my favourites to take with me, as i have about 30 favourite films!! how can i go 4 months without seeing my favourite films???  seriously this is a big problem, may even put the trip at risk...ok that last bit isnt true, but it is going to be hard

in other movie news, i'm currently watching alot of Tom Hanks' films, i have no idea why, i guess i am just finding his films really interesting, my favourite films of his at the minute are Forrest Gump, Turner and Hooch, Big, Cast Away, Philadelphia and The Da Vinci Code  i want to see angels and demons, it looks brilliant, hopefully it will be on the in-flight entertainment on the way to Cleveland.

Other films i'm looking forward to see: The new Terminator film, Star Trek, Transformers 2...you know the big blockbusters, but i am also on the look out for the next acadamy award winners, i havent found anything which has struck me as this has to win, but i know that those films will be released around december time, so i'm not that worried yet. finally the film i really want to see doesnt come out until 2010 is toy story 3, yeah, i'm still a little kid inside.

more news on new films and reviews to come in the future, ciao for now
